In the heart of the old town of El Masnou, within a protected area due to its historical, architectural, and scenic value, this home is being restored with the aim of recovering the Noucentista essence of the original construction.

The intervention focuses on preserving the existing structure and much of the original layout, always working with care and respect. The original hydraulic mosaic floor tiles are restored, the interior and exterior wooden carpentry is recovered, the interior ceiling heights are maintained, as well as various pieces of furniture and the original kitchen hood. Every detail contributes to telling the story of this home and strengthening its unique identity.

The house is organized into three distinct levels. In the semi-basement, which opens to the rear patio through four large openings, a painting studio is located. In this space, several original walls of solid ceramic brick and masonry have been left exposed, highlighting the materials and construction system of the period.
The main living program is arranged on the ground floor. Two bedrooms face the street, while the living-dining area opens onto the rear patio. This floor plan seeks to balance functionality, natural light, and a sense of spaciousness, enhancing the connection between interior and exterior spaces.

Finally, on the upper floor, the suite enjoys direct access to the rooftop terrace, offering privileged views of several landmarks of El Masnou, such as the Church of Sant Pere, the Casa Benèfica, the Marina, and the sea. This space has been designed to offer privacy and comfort, with a direct opening to the town’s landscape.

This intervention not only aims to rehabilitate the building but also to preserve its essence and adapt it to current needs without losing its connection to the surrounding context.
