In the industrial area of Vilassar de Mar, a new building has been designed to reflect the values of the company behind it, combining functionality, innovation, and sustainability. The structure, consisting of a basement, ground floor, and first floor, has a total surface area of 3,323.40 m² and is intended for the production of sanitary materials.

The design of the building’s structure and façade focuses on the use of sustainable materials. The structure of the corporate section —including the main entrance and office areas— is designed with laminated timber, providing warmth and showing a clear commitment to environmental responsibility. Although an internal courtyard was initially considered, it was ultimately excluded due to the limited width of the plot, opting instead for a more compact and efficient layout.

The complex is made up of two distinct volumes: one corresponds to the corporate section, and the other to the production area. These are connected by a prism-shaped staircase that serves as the linking element between the two zones.

The basement acts as a unifying level for the three volumes of the building and houses the parking and storage areas. The ground and first floors are distributed between offices (corporate area) and the production zone (industrial area), the latter laid out in a rectangular shape with access points designed to optimize internal functionality.

The north façade is almost entirely glazed, allowing maximum direct natural light. In contrast, the south façade —facing the industrial area— is equipped with solar protection systems to reduce direct radiation and improve indoor thermal comfort.

The building achieves a high level of energy efficiency, thanks to a construction system with thermal inertia, ventilated façades, and high-quality thermal insulation, earning it an A energy rating. It also includes a smart management system for the control and monitoring of facilities, such as the use of renewable energy via solar panels and biomass, a roof specifically designed for the installation of photovoltaic panels, and rainwater harvesting.

Regarding access, a new front entrance for visitors and a side entrance for staff have been planned, enhancing corporate visibility and improving the flow of people and vehicles, along with a reorganization of the parking area to optimize available space.

Visually, the project features a contemporary and elegant architectural design, with clean-lined façades and materials that combine strength and efficiency.
